Key Speaker: Dr. Amit Kumar Dinda, Professor – Department of Pathology at AIIMS
He is officer in-charge of Division of Renal & he has keen interest in experimental pathology with interdisciplinary research in immunopathology, tissue engineering, cancer biology and Nanomedicine. He is actively working in the area of application of Nanotechnology in Medicine and Nanotoxicology. His laboratory has developed nanoparticle based oral gene delivery system and nanoadjuvant for developing single shot booster free vaccine, development of novel nanocarriers for AmphotericineB, technology for delivering 4 anti-tubercular drugs in one nanoparticle, macrophage targeted SiRNA delivery system for reversal of Atherosclerosis plaque, combined chemo and photothermal therapy for superficial bladder cancer and study of long term fate and toxicity of gold nanoparticle. Visiting Professor in Albert Einstein Institute of Medical Sciences, New York 2004 -5, Visiting Professor University of New South Wales, Australia 2008. He is Founder Secretary of Indian Society of Nanomedicine, Ex-President of Indian Society of Renal & Transplant Pathology, Ex-Vice President of Society for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine (India) (SABOI), Ex-VicePresident, Electron Microscopy Society of India (EMSI), Fellow, Electron Microscopy Society of India (EMSI). - Dr. Satya Pavan Kumar Varma Chekuri, Director, ScanGene labs
Dr. Pawan has a masters in Biotechnology from Andhra University and doctorate in Pathology from AIIMS, New Delhi. He trained in Molecular Virology as part of the doctoral thesis in hepatitis, and genomics of host-pathogen interactions as part of the post doctoral studies. Also, he worked as a Scientist in AIIMS, New Delhi, in the area of metabolic syndrome.
Dr. Pawan co-founded biotech start-ups in Varanasi and New Delhi and has business experience in molecular diagnostics, genomics, contract research and product development. He successfully partnered with MNNIT, Allahabad for facility exchange and also conducted several Biotech workshops and training sessions for science graduates in Varanasi. He established several in-house panels for rare genetic disorders, cancers and infectious agents and designed and developed low cost DNA tools.
- Ati Malik, Startup India
Ati is an Economics graduate from Delhi University working with Startup India, Invest India for more than a year. She is working with the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion in the recognition of Startups and the Inter- Ministerial Board process for granting of tax related benefits to the Startups. Startups can avail a host of benefits through recognition and it has impacted more than 10,000 startups.
She has previously worked with Tata with the Revenue Collection and Analysis group for a year. I have also interned with the Niti Aayog on a project on Urban Infrastructure Financing.

Non member fee
For non members a fee of INR 2500 (inclusive of taxes) will be charged to attend a meeting. Anybody wish to be member after attending for a day, amount of INR 2500 would be adjusted in annual membership fees, if paid within 3 days.
